Nationally recognized as the leading program for responsible server training, Techniques of Alcohol Management (TAM)® provides risk management tools that should be used by all licensees to control the day-to-day operations of their business. TAM® training covers a wide variety of information including:

  • False Identification
  • Laws, Rules, and Regulations
  • Clinical Effects of Alcohol
  • Customer Disturbances
  • Alcohol Management

TAM® seminars are available statewide for MLBA members at a nominal charge and can help reduce your liquor liability insurance premiums.

TAM® Online

The online version of the Techniques of Alcohol Management® program is currently NOT accepted  by the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. You may still take the course, but you will not meet the requirements outlined by MLCC policy for approved alcohol server training. You can access the online course by visiting http://www.tamusa.org.

In the meantime, you can find out about onsite TAM® classes by clicking here or calling (800) 292-2896.
