MLCC Extends License Renewal Deadline to May 31

MLBA Members,

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Please renew your liquor license if you have not already done so.

The Commission today approved an extension of the 2022 annual license expiration date through May 31, 2022, per Administrative Order 2022-04. You must have your 2022 license posted in your business by 12:01 a.m. on June 1.

After two years of extending the annual license renewal date due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Commission realizes that licensees need more time to get used to going back to the customary renewal date of May 1.

If you have not yet renewed your license, this is a final reminder. Failure to renew before the May 31 expiration date and receive an updated license, may result in violations and/or automatic termination of the license.

You are encouraged to renew your license online to ensure timely processing of your renewal application and avoid any potential delays with mailing your renewed license.

To renew your license online go to: www.michigan.gov/lcc.The renewal portal is open and may be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week

You may now print your own license if you have no changes to your renewal license application. Only active renewal licenses for the current year can be printed during the annual license renewal period. You will not be able to print your license at any other time of the year.

For instructions on how to print your own license, go to the MLCC Portal User Guide at: https://www.michigan.gov/lara/-/media/Project/Websites/lara/lcc/license-print-instructions
